Chargers NewsDate: Dec 04, 2011 Former Chargers reunite in pro hockey
The Mississauga Chargers are pleased to announce that another member of the team and long time contributor to the Mississauga Chargers Hockey Club, Equipment Manager Jake Clarke, has accepted a position in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). Jake has been with the Chargers in numerous positions in the last 9 seasons. He has now worked his way into the professional ranks as Head Equipment Manager with the Fayetteville Fireantz, a pro team based in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Clarke joins Former Chargers Captain and 2nd all time in franchise scoring, Chris Rebernik and 5 year Charger Andrew Willock in Fayetteville. Rebernik in his 5th year pro comes to Fayetteville after a year off with knee surgery. Willock in his 2nd season as a pro after a very successful NCAA career joined the Fireantz after he spent his rookie season between Danbury (FHL) and Elmira (ECHL).
All three former Chargers are Mississauga natives and honed their craft while within the Mississauga Chargers organization. We wish to extend them all the very best of luck and to make your Chargers proud.
